How to Save?

Tried the game out for the first time for like 5 min a few days ago, came back on today and saw that my game didnt save? Played another 5 min to test it and it didnt save again? How do you save your progression? I could not find any save button anywhere.

Unfortunately, you don't unlock the manual save feature until the second day (unless you skip the tutorial part). The game does autosave at times during that first day, but I haven't figured out exactly what triggers. I suspect it triggers an autosave after you complete a quest, but I'm not sure.

The game also auto-saves when you enter or leave buildings, I believe, as well as, I'm pretty sure, when you access storage or cooking stations -- watch for the little running chicken in the corner of the screen; when you see that, the game's just saved. I don't think I've ever used the manual save button.

Yeah I eventually had a longer session with the game. It eventually gave me the option to save after learning how to fish I believe. It's so dumb tho, they should just show new players the save button and have it unclickable and when a player hovers their mouse over it a tooltip pops up saying "You must first finish Prologue to unlock manual save" or something like that lol.

I mainly got this game for the online co-op but learned that when friends join they have to make a new character rather than bringing in the character they are progressing with in their world, its dumb. this game dumb. I dont think I will be playing it anymore.
