Won't complete quests

I have two quests that will not complete and one of them is the main story quest, so I can't progress any further. The first quest is one I have seen others complain about; the "wave emote for your animals" quest will not complete even if the animals respond to the action. The second one, the main story quest, is the "Enter the Fae Realm." This will not mark as complete no matter how many times I enter the realm and leave through the portal, is there something I need to do or is it just being buggy?

I can't complete the Wave emote for your animals quest either. I've tried buying another chicken and doing the wave emote, I've restarted the game. Not sure what else I can do.

As I've posted in other threads about the "Wave of Emotion" quest, it is currently bugged for most/all users and there is no known workaround on the player end. The developers are aware of the bug and are working on a fix for a future update.

For Chomp's issue with "Enter the Fae Realm": are you able to talk to any of the NPCs inside the Fae Realm?

The only person I see and can talk to is the potion seller and they just open their shop but doesn't give me a quest or anything to complete

ZIdo isn't at the beginning of the bridge right after the portal, ready to welcome you to the Fae Realm?

As rosetiger12 says, there should be an elf standing at the start of the bridge right at the Fae side of the portal.

I spoke to him as well. the quest didn't update to tell me to talk to him, it got stuck on "enter fae realm" task. I played for a couple more days and randomly when I logged back in the quest updated and told me to talk to him and the "enter fae realm" was marked as completed. So, I'm assuming there was some delayed bug happening.
