Conservatory Consumes Critters
All I can say is I am disappointed. I was saving one of each critter I caught thinking it was some sort of display. I could have swore even a loading screen tip alluded to such. Instead, I had rare bugs converted to bug juice...

It probably should have been modeled and named after a blender, since that is what it does.

i believe the description says that the bugs stay for a while, then leave, and when they go they leave behind stuff, i.e. the bug juice, flutter dust, etc.

however you always end up with more than you put in. a common butterfly will give 1 flutter dust, an uncommon butterfly gives 2 flutter dust, a rare butterfly gives 3 flutter dust. so you always come out on top money-wise, it's just more slots on the table you gotta fill if you intend on selling them.

With all due respect, the resources it gave me do not matter to me. I know it says they are fine, etc. after looking past the "delightful home for lowland critters." However, functionally it is no different whether I put a snail in the Fae Farm "conservatory" or a Fae Farm blender. They all end in shell bits.

My point is I thought it was a cute little display, and the name makes it seem like that. I have not seen it again to screen cap it, but I am pretty sure there is a loading tip that says it will display them, too. Instead, it consumed them. (Left, blended, whatever, they are no longer in my possession.)

Frankly, it is misleading in the name of being cutesy and I was disappointed. I did not want a bug blender, I wanted a little critter display. For a game with so many decoration elements, I do not think that is odd at all to display a few of the critters we catch.

As to your point about the value of the resources, by all means have your bug blender. I just want it to look like one and to have an actual display as well.

You're super mad that the wild animals you catch don't want to stay with you.

The conservatory literally shows you what you get when you put a bug in. Yes they fly around for a bit until you end up with the ingredients. Perhaps they will have, or do have some kind of display later when you get different building materials for decorations. Personally I am fine with it. To me the gameplay loop is fun.

Also, don't sell them. Unless you plan on never using potions. Everything in this game (beyond decorations that don't give you boosts) has a use. I actually prefer that. I am surprised there's no museum though. I'm only 14 hours into the game.

If you want a bug display, I recommend Garden Paws. Everything in that game is about decorations. Unfortunately I can't play it since they changed the sound design. I'm very sensitive to harsh sounds, which they added a couple years ago. That and decoration focused gameplay is boring after 40 hours.

To be honest, i though they would be displayed in like a museum too, i was a bit sad about it too
