I do agree it would be nice to have weapon upgrades, other than the passive increases via your MAGIC skill, but as you level it you do get more noticably powerful. I'm killing the monsters in 1 combination in the first dungeon now with Magic 11 as compared to taking 5-6 hits the first time going through it.
Recipes do use the ingredients, just not directly, whats wrong with using the preparation table to make ingredients from your crops before cooking? I think the system works fine IMO.
Again I'm 20 hours or so in and never had any lack of bugs, or ingredients for potions playing with TWO people and having to make double the fairbreath potions/mana potions for mass crop watering, etc. I think this is a personal issue you're just not catching bugs when you see them.
Flowers, 100% agree, I've got about 350 of 5 different color flowers in my bin and only a handful of recipes that even use them, it would be nice if you can replant the cross-bred flowers you grow for decorating.
Automation - you clearly have not got very far a simple trough upgrade makes it so you only have to feed your animals once every 10 days, and once you get to Ch. 5 you get access to soil beds that literally keep your crops watered for 2 days. Meaning you only water them every other day. Play the game more.
Sorting bags, that would be a very nice QoL. But with auto-stacking to your shed (unlimited storage) its really not an issue for us (personally).
Decor - Not sure you understand the system, its permanent health, energy, mana upgrades for the COZY decor inside your house. You only unlock the ability to make them as you progress. If you could craft them all early there would be almost no need for food items to recovery energy, and literally no use for mana potions to use your magic abilities for resource gathering.
I have to ask...are you ok? Is there anything we can do?
Says the person posting "can't wait to see what its like when its completed!" after the game comes out as a proper full relase and not early access. LOL
Play the game, learn the mechanics.
Your reply to Rossell who did nothing but provide some well worded and helpful information was very inappropriate. I shall award you with one Jester.
I think you need to check yourself.
I'm 14 hours in. I have ran into maybe 3 bugs that fixed themselves on restart or just by going to the next day.
I like the fact that you can use the prep table AND don't need specific crops all the time. Also once you can pickle things, you can sell them much easier for a decent price.
You know that there is a shed NEXT to your barn right? My issue is that decorating the second house didn't seem to add to my health/stamina/magic because I used the same decorations. That just sucks. But then maybe you'd become too powerful that way.
I'm having issues with the enemies in the second mine as well. However, the more I fight, the more my passive "RPG" skills go up. There are plenty of other things I can work on till I get stronger. Eventually I'll get another spell for my staff as it shows you in the Almanac there are about 3 more. The staff is your fighting tool. It gets upgraded, you don't get something else. That is pretty clear in the game.
Some creatures have patterns - like the ones that shield themselves - you just have to figure out when to swing your net. Rarer ones need you to sneak usually. Also it's not hard to upgrade your net. If it were too easy, it wouldn't be fun.
I agree with the first festival. It was lame. You just bought decorations. I thought the letter said something about games. If I'm missing something, I'm sure I'll find out.
I also agree it should be easier to sort your bag. However as a controller user, I find it fairly easy to select an item, hit move, and put it where I want. And I have a disability that affects how I play games and how long.... Also you can easily auto-sort "like" items into your shed. And you can sort alphabetically in your shed. Your backpack is the only minor pain.
I wouldn't mind a mount. But I suppose the larger speed boost potions will last longer? Either way, they need to address the player speed. The basic potion lasts all of a few seconds it feels.
I have yet to see if I can look through old mail. This is super annoying when you know a letter said something (like new summer crops) and you can't find the letter to double check because you aren't seeing what the letter said would be there.
Also, I got a quest saying talk to Nessie and take my fishing rod. Apparently Nessie sleeps during the summer. Do I have to wait till next spring? Seasonal quests should have a notice, like when you try and take more than one job quest.
So, just because no one agrees with most of your complaints, doesn't mean they need to check themselves. If you think that, maybe you should look inward. Have a great day.
Hey, just checking. Your reply, to me at least, seemed a little...cranky. While I know that there are some people out there that go out of their way to antagonize people, I also know that some people are just having a bad day, and if you were having a bad day, I'm sorry to hear that. It happens to the best of us. We can listen, and remind you that there will always be tomorrow...
Seriously. I'm old, the kids are grown, and the grandkids haven't materialized yet. I've got time.
Now, if it was me, I'd leave out all the "I've played X number of hours!" and the "Get gud!" business. I'd also be worried that this WAS the complete release, with the bugs and other items that seem incomplete or are missing. I was so looking forward to the flower festival, and it was...underwhelming. Like being the only person to show up to a friends birthday party underwhelming. I'd also have said something like:
"Hey, I've played quite a bit, and while I agree with most of what you said, my experience in other areas is different. Also, there are some things you might look into. There are garden beds that, while they aren't self watering, do keep wet longer. You also unlock an autofeeder for the animals later on! I hope this helps!"
And it would have helped, too! And I WILL look into them! Thank you!
I removed the block of text detailing your complaints from your post just for this, hope you don't mind. Especially since they seemed, for the most part, to agree. However, this part made me smile, thank you!
I have gamebreaking bugs every 2 hours more or less it just keeps piling. Fun.
If you go to the mailbox itself, there should be a button you can press (RT or something, I think) to read mail you've already read. I've been able to do that, at least.
Did you figure out the crops thing? I was confused at first too. The game has a bit of an odd system in that regard but I'm kinda digging it.
Honestly, nothing I said was supposed to be mean. And yes, I checked myself. lol
I just found it odd that you would post "are you ok" after someone else's reply. A reply which seemed normal to me. Maybe they were mean and I missed it. (As someone else said, maybe it's a bad day.) So much gets misread online, so my wordplay was me being sarcastic. I am glad you could laugh.
I did look at the mailbox for any button prompts, but I haven't checked all the menus. I'm sure I'll figure it out.
Oh, and the dungeon gets much easier as you level up fighting. I really meant have a great day, too.
Oh yeah and prior to sprinklers, the watering can upgrades do larger and larger areas, unlike this game where it seems to only upgrade once but uses mana....
