It does on Switch, can't verify one way or another on PC. Seems to me that it may not be available...Devs have not been very transparent here.

It has local wireless play on the switch, which is the kind that needs two switches, not split-screen. Same with the PC version, no local play only online play.

No local co-op is a big miss. It's like they forgot some of us like to game with friends in the same room. Missed opportunity, for sure.

What? Guys the game says it has local coop when you unlock Multiplayer, at least it said it for me.

In game, there is a mail about Multiplayer stating: "Or, if you would rather host a local game, ask each of your friends to go to their Title screen, then the Join World screen to proceed"

This doesn't work and makes me think it is for the Nintendo Switch version of the game but the text was not removed for PC version?
