My New Game Will Not Start!!!

I am new to Fallout 3 and have never played it before. I bought this game but when the game starts and I start a new game for the first time, it loads a little then crashes. This closes the whole game out and I can not seem to get it to start a new game. I need help!

Get it on GOG while the deep sale is on. They fixed all the bugs.

Switch off the cloud storage for this one. If that doesn't work then the GOTY edition is really cheap on GOG and runs much better.
