Epic Games Version (no support)

Theres no support on the EGS store version, there is a massive issue with that version (no idea if it happens with the steam one) but when purchasing skills the game will completely lock up your system as it eats up the RAM, I have 32GB and it filled up instantly, restarted the system a few times now and its specifically happens when buying skills.

I haven't encountered this issue with the EGS version at all.. Played it for several hours last night.

The only crash I had was when I was trying to play the game without allowing Epic Games Service to run when first launching the game.

Not this bug for me. It works fine on Epic.

The only thing I see is I bought a few Padded Upgrades (more health, up to 70-80), but it is still at 50, like without upgrades... is this a bug or am I doing something wrong??

EDIT: OMFG... Like, there is nothing explained (or very badly) in this game, no visual cues, or tips... I had to see a Let's Play video to see how to equip them (R key when bought)

There is nothing wrong with the EPIC version. It's an amazing game.

I got this on epic as well and it crashes while I'm having a good run. epic is an epic failure to not let people write reviews or report bugs and crashes to the devs but hey atleast it's free this week so I didn't waste anything but time with the game.

Has nothing to do with playtime and everything to do with specifically buying skill upgrades, if you buy more than 1 it hangs, on the third it locks up your RAM, ive tested it on 2 completely different machines now and can replicate the issue quite easily, if you leave the upgrade screen and go back in it resets it, you have to buy 3 or more skill upgrades without leaving the menu.

I played like 5 hours on Epic and it was perfect, no crashes, runs good, no issues at all.
Bought a lot of upgrades/skills, all smooth. Also 32GB RAM.

No problem entirely on epic.
Appreciating developer add to epic gift I enjoyed it for 15 hours.

My strategy is always about money and buy stuff from shop so I confirm it never crash even I buy all stuffs from shop multiple times within 5 hours sitting

for me when it crashed it wasn't at shop and I never buy all the upgrades it was randomly during a battle.

I have a good new gaming pc that runs games that most pc's can't on ultra with no issue, doubt it's my pc.

I get random stutters and semi lockups on and off and then it will work fine. Just wondering are you on Windows 11 and did you update to 24H2 by any chance. This update is not game friendly.

I've also had no issues buying upgrades or anything with it on my pc. i7-10700k, 3080 rtx, 32gb ram and the games on a m.2 drive. My only issue is I can't boot it up through steam as a non-steam game. I get a unreal engine error every time and it just crashes before it ever starts. Works fine when I boot it up through epic though.
