Do we all think progress wipe on failing Watcher run was a big mistake?
I haven't go to that point, but felt like I was getting close.
I read somewhere about it, and it put me off carrying on. Even though I was enjoying the runs and put up with the mech boss being over powered, as I thought I could get it.
Who thought this mechanic was a good idea?
It'd be nice if they patched the game to remove this.
Plus I've read about people having game crashes and distractions, which caused them to lose. 20+ hours of progress wiped unfairly!

This sucks. Today I was on this run and I entered the last boss fight with full health and one last caress. The whole run was very easy with the plasma gun, so I was pretty relaxed. When my hp reached zero I died despite the chance I hade and everything disappeared. I was 25 hours into this game and enjoyed it so much, but now I’m not sure I’m getting back.
PS: I got the game from Epic.
Luckily I was only a few hours into the game from it being Free on Epic and I caught wind of it wiping progress on this run and wanted to confirm it here. I uninstalled immediately. I have no idea who thought that was good decision in a game like this.

Nobody said the game is bad though, so it's a very weird decision. The watcher run can be started after around 20 hours in the game, so why not to enoy that time. Just play the game and run as the green man only if you are bored already.

These games are fun because they have a proper investment in your time and respect it. When reading about the game about this part, they have all said that they immediately dropped the game once they got to this part including the OP. Why even start then? I’d rather just player one of the other million Hades’ clones that will respect your time.

Strange logic, but feel free to make your choices.
