EVA map screen broken?

Is the map screen (M) black for anyone else? Could have sworn it worked when I last played this before the recent update, is there some compatibility setting I should look into?

After the recent update from Steam I had to reinstall the TT patch, since the Steam patch undid a few things. I've just tried the map screen in the tutorial level and it seems to work, so perhaps that's all you need to do.

After TT patch, map is visible again.
but still can´t zoom in and out the map :/

I was mistaken and when using the zoom in button, you can properly zoom into the tiny map. Can people give me more info and screenshots?

Ok, did more testing; the higher the resolution, the smaller the map and zoom in and out buttons get. Will report this as a scaling issue for the EA internal known issues list.

in the original version (unpatched) map zoom works fine.
After last patch (on Steam) map was black, not useable.
With latest TT patch you can see map, but zoom buttons don´t work.
Doesn´t matter which resolution you use.

Yes, everything you don't uncover by exploring or uplinking discs remains black.

I played Renegade "vanilla" (no TTpatch, couldn't get TT to work for some reason, 4.8.4), even tested 800x600 resolution at one point, and tried dgvoodoo2 and DXVK, map was black, spamming the +/- icons in the bottom right corner seemed to do nothing-- I did notice that as I was replaying the second mission I think, picking up disks, doing ~100% of the map, once I was at the very end near the camp with the propaganda & prisoners almost finished, somewhere around there suddenly the map showed up visible in the EVA screen (this was 1920x1080p with DXVK I think when I gave up testing and just played through the mission)
