I used this guide. Basically get patch and apply patch. Adjust settings and you can play.

The only reason for Renegade is multiplayer.

Just wondering if anyone has tried LAN using the same wiFi ... instead of Network... Just tried connecting a LAN game while in the same wifi with friend. We can see the others HOST game, we can join the game.. But then it just says "Gameplay Pending" once joined. Wonder if theres a solution to this?

The host of the game needs to lower the number of players needed to start. If I remember correctly it's one of the options the host chooses when setting up the game/server.
