So, Tib Sun along with the other C&Cs that have been put up lately. These aren't remasters, so they're just updated versions so they can run on modern hardware?

I'm ready to throw my money at Tib Sun, I just need this question answered.

They have definitely been adapted to more modern hardware, but not "Remastered" like the original has been. Still, they ARE playable on modern PCs, and if this is a "stepping stone" to getting a Remaster of Tiberian Sun... I'm more than happy to support the possibility. Maybe they are looking to see how many may be interested, maybe not. But I love what was done with the original C&C Remastered game(s).... and would LOVE to see Tiberian Sun Remastered in such a way. Until then, I'll be happy with this!

So the re-releases run right out of the box after being downloaded? No screwing with files or downloading patches or anything?

If so I won't hesitate to throw my money at these, I played Tib Wars long ago on console, I clearly missed out on what C&C brought to the table.

Just install and play. The game really shows it's age with the resolution and controls. Both take some getting use to.

If TibSun is the only thing you're interested in in this bundle, then don't bother. The oldest three games in this bundle (C&C1, RA1 and TS) are freeware, and the community editions of these games are vastly upgraded compared to these versions.

Mine works as well on Windows 10, the only changes I did is modify the .ini files to run the game at 1280x720 on my 1440p monitor, looks really nice and I feel it's the optimal resolution to use imo, anything higher makes things look tiny in the game.

Perfect settings for my 1440p monitor. Fills the screen to the edges and doubles my sidebar.
