YR on Linux
I'm on Bazzite Linux, and YR runs okay with some random crashes. I'm pretty happy with the game overall, but I would like some improvements.

Anyone have any luck with mods on Linux?

I've found how to use my native monitor resolution (typing hires at main menu), but I would like to be able to scale the interface. (Shift+F11 from a couple guides doesn't seem to work)

Crashes tend to happen after playing a Skirmish for 30 or more minutes, but they occasionally happen between maybe 2 and 15 minutes in. I thought it may have been a large number of objects (me and 5 bots-worth of bases and armies), and it also seems to happen most when the Yuri faction is in play. I've tried just about every version of Proton, and for those that will run the game, there seems to be no difference.

I'm not super keen on running Windows to solve or simplify the above problems.

exact same issue on my steam deck. Did you found any solution?

Running Mental Omega (mod) through Lutris with ProtonGE with no problems. For Mental Omega you have to set the .exe to clientdx.exe (in the Resources folder) and the Red Alert 2 folder for the directory. You can tweak the other settings to find what works best for you.

I find that regular Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge can work just fine with WineGE. If you do set it up through Lutris remember to point to the normal .exe file and directory.
