If you mean if these games require the EA App, though… the answer is "no", regardless of whether you get them by buying the collection or through an EA Play subscription.
One of the few things Ubisoft does very well. If you have a game on Ubisoft Connect and then buy it on Steam, you just get a second version unlocked on their app, but you can freely install and/or access whichever version you prefer. EA doesn't have that very nice feature.
