How do I play online? it keep saying WESTWOOD Online, but it seems the server are offline. Also I cant play online with the Zero Hour. Is there any 3rd party program needed? Or at least, tell me how to play multiplayer please.

Step by step process

1. Get on the →discord server[discord.gg]←, read and follow instructions. Then accept the terms and look for the voice channels (mic not required but for best experience recommended)(discord can also work on smart phone which has mic)
   
2. u are going to need the IPX→UDB conversion kit (since IPX is no longer use to comms via the internet) The kit can also be found on the discord server→RA2 Channel[discord.com]← tested by multiple players and scanned with virus total to ensure quality&Control. Trust is required for a healthy community.
   
3. Get radmin, information can also be found on the Discord Server[discord.com]

P.s. we also be using the mod "GenPatcher" for HD graphics and multiplayer on "C&C genrals".

For now but maybe we alter later on... we are not using the "cnc . net" mod for ra2&yr since its not a requirement to facilitate better graphics and multiplayer. AS in it can be done by some simple tweeks, adding 4 dlls and using a virtual-local-network.

guys never let a stranger convince you to download a remote desktop software. (radmin for example)
this person is trying to scam you guys.
and side note it's an absolute pain and a security risk to be using things like for example hamachi or whatever competitor. to have it simulate a local network but over the internet. (it's like having a fake lan connection.)


cncnet lets you play online with a pretty big community. and it was easy to use for me.. and it allows for higher resolutions in campaign and such aswel. i just don't like that the launcher uses the yuri's revenge theme and not the red alert theme song.
and higher resolutions without cncnet can be achieved with some edits to ONE dll. namely DDrawCompat.ini where you can ad your resolution. or just ad "native" to this line like such.
SupportedResolutions = 640x400, 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, native
and then type "hires" while in the main menu of the game. (red alert 2. it didn't seem to work for yuri's revenge)
it's like an oldschool cheatcode unlocking the higher resolutions. (if you then set your resolution to whatever you want like 1080p. the game itself will change the settings in the other dll's aswel.

can't get it to do online with a dll though. you need cncnet for that.

assumptions are ht motha of all f_U_k ups, and then again have u ever used radmin? because it has a 2 part installtion. one for making a vpn aka preten LAN so players can game together. and then the opther part for actual remote access. which would not be advised.. unless for work or something..

As a cyber security cunsultant i do agree its a security risk... best to unplug ur pc to avoid any internet risk at all. XD

also we do utube videos and such so... yah if we are scamming as you state ... mr i know it all... then we are very public about it. lolz feel free to join the discord server as well and find out about the """SCAMs""".

As goes CnCnet.org we have been using since.... actually this morning... and turns out we have been missing out on some very cool features esp the windowed borderless. so as of today we do recomment the cnc.net though radmin is still great for other games such as castle story, silent hunter 3, facture flag and others that require lan.
