CnC.Net via Steam instructions

Hi All,

Just a quick guide for you, when you have install CnC Net for multiplayer and what to luanch it via steam go to the games properties in steam.

Once there find Launch commands and then copy paste the directory of "clientdx.exe" EG "C:\Program Files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Command & Conquer Red Alert II\Resources\clientdx.exe" (WITH THE QUOTES) and then add "%COMMAND%" (WITHOUT THE QUOTES) to the end.

Altogether it should look like:
"C:\Program Files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Command & Conquer Red Alert II\Resources\clientdx.exe" %COMMAND%

Exit out of that and find the .exe I just pointed to, right click it, go to properties, compatibility and tick run as administer and apply. And there we go, now when you press play in steam it opens CnC. net!

1. Right-click on the file clientdx.exe and Create a shortcut.
2. Right-click on the shortcut for clientdx.exe and add %COMMAND% at the end.
3. Run the game with the shortcut.

Make sure to set it to run as admin or it won't work
