The CnC collection is all games for 10.
I don't know why they are all listed seperately for 10 each but the collection has them all.

I found that after I posted it, so hopefully they didn't screw with the basic versions too much.
Thank you. Prefer this option to subscription crap, just weird the Red Alert 2 page didn't have this listed but other ones did.

this just proves that EA is out of touch..
sell the game on steam or no deal.

This subscription nonsense is only here to test waters and see how much gamers are willing to deal with in terms of not owning anything. I wouldn't do the subscription. It's bad enough that the stuff we're buying technically can have the plug pulled at any point let alone needing to pay repeatedly on a monthly basis to play an older game. I do not agree with this pay model.

You can purchase it legit on steam no temp subscription required, just select the option to buy the whole ass collection instead

I'd really rather not be forced to buy CnC4. I don't want that awful game staining my library.

You get all the classic C&C games and expansions currently on sale. Cheaper if you already own any of the older games that were already on Steam.

The collection sells them all together for way cheaper, but that's a question I too have:
If I buy the collection do I still have to subscribe or register with EA?

I love how I answered already that I found the collection after the first couple replies and thanked them, yet people after that message can't be bothered to look at the conversation before they post information that isn't needed anymore.
Need to remind myself to do less of that when I reply to things. Going to edit the post to remove it and let it go down.

From what I can tell no, it just gives you an individual version of that game. What state it's in or if there's anything else to worry about I can't say yet since I haven't fired any of them up yet, but it cost me under 7 dollars so I was willing to take the risk.

I see. Well, please keep us posted.

C&C 1 and Red Alert 1 are old in how you have to adjust game options and don't have all that many. Red Alert 2 at least had them in the game itself but the options were only slightly better. Mouse moves like Sonic the Hedgehog unless you manually turn it down some, no option for that.
When I was attempting to look at the options for C&C 1 and Red Alert 1 C&C 1 opened without an issue, Red Alert 1 triggered my virus program. It deemed them safe, but just mentioning it might do the same for others.
Haven't tried the other games in the collection yet. Since both 3's have been on steam for awhile I imagine they are largely fine. Can't say anything about playing any of them yet.
I'm sure some people will showcase stuff on Youtube in the coming days though.

Well that's a good start, and no "sign up with EA just to play" stuff right?
