Just crashes on Windows 10

Bought this bundle today on a whim of nostalgia. Tried running but it crashes straight away. Running Windows 10. Any ideas anyone?

I can only tell you that there isn't a general incompatability with Win 10 as I can run the game just fine.
Knowing your system stats and possible crash reports might be helpful.

I downloaded zip from https://github.com/FunkyFr3sh/cnc-ddraw and installed into game folder - it resolved the issue.

Actually, I think that with the ddraw dll to fix issues, enabling compatibility modes is a very, very bad idea.

Typical American ♥♥♥♥ sell us games wich crash after 2h in Game, so we cant refund them.
Bought 10 c&c pack 3 of them so far crashed, and deinstalled them.
2024 and 1994 Games crash, nothing to add to this..
Just scamming americans. Last American Game bought.

I tried to run it on win 10 and shows me an error: "ra95.dat does not respond"
I've tried to replace ddraw.dll with same one from github and isn't working. Also, I've chaneg compatibility mode and was not a good idea because crash up my pc.
Anyone can help me with this error?

Make sure the game has no compatibility modes applied to it. It'll only make them work worse if any ddraw.dll fixes are used.

I got a different problem.
When I try and launch Red Alert, I get "Red Alert is unable to detect your CD ROM drive"

Anyone else encountered this issue?

Still no luck. I can't figure it out. Google doesn't help either.

Odd, that shouldn't happen on this edition. Did you install any 3rd party fixes on it?

Try putting "-cd." in the startup options in Steam.

No 3rd party fixes afaik. I bought the game during Steam sale, installed it and after a couple of seconds it went to a black screen then the message popped up "Red Alert is unable to detect your CD ROM drive"

....seem like this guy just dont know what he is doing typical of a non american to be this slow
