EX Kyo also has a very easy HD combo. Same with King. She can combo a trap shot into tornado kick in the corner, and loop indefinitely.
There are several other easy HD loops too, though many characters have more of a problem with getting into the loop itself. For instance Ralf has a very easy loop with his swing punch and burning hammer, though getting into the combo is a bit tricky, at least in my opinion.
EX Kyo's basic HD combo is fairly simple, but his optimized stuff requires clean execution to avoid accidental DMs from coming out. I'd say for execution required vs damage dealt, Shen is an obvious pick. His HD combos consist of mostly quarter circles, has a fairly simple rhythm, and besides corner vs mid-screen, not too much "distance to corner" specific stuff to worry about. Hwa has fairly simple but damaging basic corner HD combos, mostly with his 2-hit dp+D DC qcb+B loop. Claw Iori also has simple but damaging HD combos.
Just about everyone in the cast can get easy damage by MAX cancelling a DM. It's simple stuff to start off with that can net damage before you move on to more advanced stuff.
