Stuck right on load, before it grabs the save game file.
Just says "Now loading" with the spinning envelope.
First time this has happened for me, I've been playing since Closed BETA v1.
Can you backup your game save data somewhere (found in the steam userdata "kofxiii" directory), then delete the original game save data files and reboot the game?
This might help, let me know if it does.
Thanks
Jim
I dont have game save data. Its not in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\29587912\' There is no 222940 folder, i've tried reinstalling - didn't help at all
I managed to get it to start by forcing windowed mode via '-w' in the launch parameters. When I did that, I got a 'Creating Save Data' message that I didn't get in fullscreen, then the game started as normal. However when I tried to switch back to fullscreen in-game, by switching to between Windowed and Fullscreen once in Options, the game then got stuck on the 'Saving' dialog upon exit from options menu.
is this due to the game being 32 bit currently having this problem at a friends house who only has a 3tb drive
As mentioned earlier, you can try partitioning your disc, if you know how it's done. You can mess it up pretty bad otherwise. If he doesn't have any other drive, you can try installing it on an external drive. It's under 3GB in size after all. Works for some people. It works on my 16GB Sandisk, but doesn't work on my 500GB Intenso.
