Is Dead Island Epidemic still playable?

used to love this game, and weirdly, I used to like even playing it solo. because I loved it so much, even when soloing, and I still feel like playing it once in a while. but since the servers were closed, like, eight years ago lol, I don't even know if I can play it. if it's playable, then it would only be solo? would there be any important features missing? or is multiplayer still even available with some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? yeah, I know, dead game, whatever, I used to really like it, and I'm sure I'm not alone. either thanks for the help

you have the game, so just start it... i don't understand why people who own a game have to ask these kind of questions...

it is pretty obvious that a game that needs servers to be played will not be playable anymore. i know that without playing it... but go ahead and find it out on your own.

edit: since someone just said they played it, i had to tryy, and obviously there is no way to login to servers that have been taken down years ago. so yeah, definitely 100% no legal way to play this.

No, you can't play the game. It will remain on the "Dead Island Epidemic Open Beta" screen with "Trying to connect to the servers" text and "Exit" button AND nothing else. The only thing you can do is to press that Exit button and quit the game.
