CVAR = Console Variable, so you need to bring up console. Then if you type CVAR without additional string it will print hint from cvarlist. Hint mostly contains info about how to change the cvar (what kind of numbers you can put there).
] cl_ads_fov_scale
"cl_ads_fov_scale" = "0.5" ( def. "1.0" ) min. 0.000000 max. 1.000000 client archive - Zoom factor when looking down sights.
applies on other cvars as well, so if you do not know how to change that, just type the cvar without string and see :)

i want the player to never have additional surrounding magnification when pressing mouse 2 or shift key, and the fact to press mouse 2 would directly and permanently put the scope close to the eye (without the need to maintain "shift"
this way the surrounding would always be x0 magnification, and the scope would be 4x magnification directly closened to the eye (withtout the need to maintain "shift"). that would create a true 4x magnification feeling.
is it possible to get this setting ?
