How to turn off HDR effect?

Anyone else having a huge brightness problem? I turn down my brightness but it doesn't help. and the game's HDR effect os sooo overwhelming when it comes to sniping. I have to wait a good 10 seconds before the HDR kicks in and lowers brightness. Any help?

Now that I think of it I believe your right. The problem with using magnified optics in this game isn't the view distance fog as people post....its the HDR or bloom effect when you ADS.,,Don't know of a way to disable it though.

I have a problem with the HDR & i found this :

Put that on the console on each game or creat a autoexe files ;)

mat_hdr_enable 0
mat_hdr_level 0

For me, It's better now !

Or just switch Shader detail to Medium/Low, HDR is only enabled on High as far as i know.
