crouching: toggle
going prone: toggle
thats how Ive got it set up anyway. I can't stand it when I have to hold down the keys to crouch/go prone because it restricts my movement abilities if Im one finger short on WSAD.
Just on a side note: I also have leaning left/right reversed.
That way I can move left (A) and lean left (E) at the same time while keeping the middlefinger on W and S ;)
setting sprinting to toggle is the only way for me to make use of the sliding function since i have sprint bound to left shift and crouch to left ctrl.
crouch is set to hold for me since i don't mind holding the button down and i wouldn't use the pinkie for anything else anyways.
i don't use walk at all at the moment since the footstep sound is barely noticeable but if that changes i will use it with hold so i don't get stuck in walk mode while having to move fast when getting under fire.
not on my headphones + soundcard combo :)
I tell my teammates to press the ALT button constantly, it's very distracting hearing footsteps behind you, only to realiase that it was a friendly :p
aim: Hold
Crouch: Hold
Prone: toggle.
I need to rethink my crouch though. When crouching it's hard to zoom in with the gun (shift)
Wouldn't it be;
A turn signal on your car that you had to hold down to keep on, or one that you push down and then pull back up when you are done?
