Is there a way to disable voip?

I don't see an option. I tried to turn the volume in the steam microphone settings down, but that didn't do anything.



And no, before anybody says that voip is important for teamplay, it is not. All i get is Russians talking russian, Russians screaming into their mics and Russians swearing in broken english. Let's not forget all those people with cheap microphones, that sound like robots, and the twelve year olds, who think shouting "allahu akbar" makes them super edgy.
That doesn't improve teamplay at all.

Disabling no, but muting yes. I did this before o
i found our why i got kicked on some servers. They were giving me directions via voip, but because i turned it off i didn't hear them.

voice_enable 0 or voice_scale 0

1 puts it back on/to full volume. voice_enable 0 also disables your voicechat, so you can't transmit.

What's the name of the file? Settings maybe?

Console. Not a PS or Xbox though.

You need to enable the "Developer Console" in the options first and then join/create a server before you can open it. It's some unusual bug with Insurgency, but once you joined a server you can open it and put in the command.

You need to enable the "Developer Console" in the options first and then join/create a server before you can open it. It's some unusual bug with Insurgency, but once you joined a server you can open it and put in the command.

That bug doesnt occur in window borderless imo.. atleast me and lots of other borderless clients dont have the problem, I have to click a submenu (training/play) of the mainmenu though to open it then, buts I dont have to start a server or join one. Mates that play fullscreen do have those problems you mentioned.

♥♥♥♥ Win 8+ and it's input delay causing triple buffering you can't turn off. No borderless windowed unless the game won't work in fullscreen.

Besides, which rookie in the dev team is the one that caused this? None of my Source games had this problem ever.
