Is there a way to test weapons?
Hi, so I want to try some of the mods I got from the workshop and I was wondering if there is a good way to try them.

Like in l4d2 I can simply go to this map http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=469986973&searchtext=test and test every single mod I have.

In Counter Strike I can just write sv_cheats 1 in console and then give myself the weapons I need.

Same as CS, You can use give_weapon with sv_cheats 1
also give_ammo, give_upgrade, remove_upgrade, give_supply.

and you can find a upgrade parts name in HERE[github.com]

When I want to test things out I just type in the console "map (insert map name, but no coop mode)", and when it's done loading I type "ins_bot_quota 0".
This way I can respawn and switch sides and resupply without having to wait. It will say "Waiting for Players" at the top of the screen, but it never pestered me so IDK if it might annoy you.

I use to do tests on Snuffeldjuret's 16targetsontime_v1 map as it's a great map to test weapons, but after the update it crashes while loading :(

But any map (without "_coop" at the end) should do fine me thinks. :|

only the pvp maps, i dont think bot quota will put ai on your side in coop modes.

nob you need to edit the .txt for that map i think, or they do on the workshop idk?

as for the map, operator mod has a map called range like that. it has targets, drills and a head to head killhouse course should you and a mate want to play.

Yeah ins_bot_quota won't work in coop modes. I never messed with any of the .txt files for maps (yet), so idk about that either. Definitely gonna check out that range map though, and see what I can do with it to run it for vanilla Insurgency. :P

You can try ins_bot_count_checkpoint 0 or make them blind nb_blind 1 and stop working nb_stop 1

Also if you bother with wait times, change mp_timer_* to 0

you can test everything on a listenserver meaning loading a map on your game using console commands just like on CS......looking at config files and txt files will also show you more stuff to tweaks to your liking.
