Huge problem with latency... (Fixed!!!!!)

Fine fine and then everyone will stop moving, then once everyone glitches to where ever they went I glitch way back or die... This happens every 5-10 seconds. The server ping was going wacko! But when i did a ping test out of the game it was fine? I know its not my computer and my internet (via ethernet cable) is fine. Anyone else have this problem? And anyone know what might fix it?

Did you ping test to the same area/location? Have you checked your own 'connect' for packet loss?

if you are the only person in the server having the issue, then its your connection. if everyone in the server is having the same issue, then its the server. and by server i mean the server system (cpu, network, hdd etc) or ins dedicated server problems (bot stuck etc).

Ping you said it yourself the server ping was going wacko.
i was ina server yesterday with over 350 ping and i noticed similar things happening, Delay on enemy deaths position lag, seems anything over 300-350 is when you start to notice because anything under this you have to lookk to see it.

First yes i did a my location for the ping test, and i will have to check for packet loss, i have not done that! Seconly it was me and two other people on the server having this problem. I know its not my computer because it was just running the game at 30-40 FPS fine up to this random point, but it may be my internet. And thank you all for responding! I will check for packet loss and then see if i can do anything about it, if thats the problem. :) Also when i go to an empty sever with just bots its fine and running smoothy?

i would guess you and the other 2 on the server might of shared routing which is where this issue lay.

True, but also today I was at a nice 50ish ping this was still happening?

your maxfps is 30-40? its your cpu/gpu. dont blame others.
only other 2 having the problem? waht about the other 'else'? if its not everyone, its you.

try net_graph 1. you can see your fps and server fps.

the way i see it, you have good connection but you dont have the computing power. have you try lowering the graphics settings? why is your spec?

i have the same problem like the Great...before the game running smooth with 60 fps constantly and now i have 40-45 max in game ...in all servers( lags,sometimes little freezes) . before my pc support high graphic easily

I get that lag in all online games. I leave and join another server. Plus I browse servers and go for the low 30 – 60 ping servers, but it can happen there to . It is a server issue.

Your are correct in your GFX card....64 cuda cores and 512mb of vram. You need a better card and arguably an overall system update for more enjoyable game play.

I get these lag spike. Its driving me crazy. I have a GTX 970 and it's the only game that does that. Actually, all Source based game does that. If you look at the net_graph 3, you see huge spike. Never managed to fix it.
