As the guy above said, if you don't have the same ammo type (everyone uses AP) you won't be able to share the same ammo pool.
still, i think you should be able to swap magazines despite ammo selection. just make the mag already in the gun the ammo type of the dude who dropped it and all subsesquent mags our type of ammo.
also does magazine size affect this? like on the galil you can get drum mags and on the fal you can get extended mags.
The community has made that clear to NWI, and as a result, it's a feature in Insurgency Sandstorm! This game was made quite a while ago. It's fun, but a lot of its mechanics are primitive. I'm not dogging on the game or anything, I'm just making the point that the game is a little t o o simple.
And to answer your question, if you have a galil, and you pick up a galil with a DRUM rather than a standard 35 round magazine, you won't be able to reload it.
Does that mean there are no Ruger Mini-14's out there that someone has modified to accept STANAG mags? No, but I've never heard of it, and Gun Jesus better get on that toot sweet so we can get Jim Sullivan's belly laugh on video before he dies.
Edit: Not miniaturized. Scaled.
And what do you mean by " stop acting like it's CoD or some unrealistic game " Why is this even brought up ? what does this has to do with anything ?
