How to find what server a friend is playing on...

Is there a way to find a server that a friend is playing the game on? Many other games let you do this but I can't find anything that would let you do it on Insurgency. It would be nice to load the game and click on a friends name in your friends list to see what server they are playing on and join them.

There doesn't even seem to be a way to click on a server and list the names of the players in that server. That would be an alternative so you could at least search though each server looking for your friend.

I know you could send them a chat message and ask them but when you are playing a game like this to tend to ignore chat messages from Steam.

And you're wrong, you can look at what players specifically on a server.

There is a friend's tab in the server browser window.

Also you can "view game info" by clicking on your friends profile both in game and via steam friends list. This will show you the server they are on and give you the ability to join their games.

Thank you. I have seen the friends tab but never had anything happen when I click on them.
