Tried Launching the insurgency_osx64, failed missing dependency. I think libgcc2 [don't quote me on this] , which was present. Will give it another shot and report on the error. Thank you for your reply.
Hi arc , this is the machine through which i failed to launch the game.
The game seems to be looking for the bin files in local folder /usr/local/lib
Should I symlink it to the insurgency/bin/osx64 directory ?

Try to search throuch this board, some people likely posted solution to this Mac issue (or it might be on Day of Infamy board)
M1 mac

Its a pretty big deal because Macos/IOS is based in unix, same as linux and android. So this new kernel has Mac support, maybe just a matter of time to work out some graphics, network or audio drivers. Then anything linux runs(Steam, Proton, Windows games) should run on the Apple hardware. If I owned a Mac M1 I would probably search for a early build and install, test. When they get steam, with HW acceleration working, you get Proton, and all the games working.
Heres the guy porting it. https://asahilinux.org/
