How to throw grenades more softly?

i know mouse 3 kinda works. But i hardly hit the weapon cache anyways. Is there something i dont know of?

Use mouse 3 in combination with a finger point at the base of the cache. If you look at your finger pointing when you select grenade, that tells you how high or low you will throw. Throwing lower (by finger point) ALSO seems to throw a little softer.

Just use mouse roller button to toss the nade on the cache

Not that you should be using grenades to take out caches unless there is no other alternative

You get used to the aiming. Lobbing it is the weakest throw, keep using it when it's too close.

2 grenades to destroy the cache btw.

Middle mouse will lob the grenade.
You can throw it normally if you need to, try to backboard it and hit the wall closest to the cache or the roof above the cache and let the grenade fall ontop.
Getting used to how the grenade bounces off certain angles will help a lot.
