i hate Insurgency: Sandstorm ..

because i don't think it will run on my system (gpu: 940mx), maybe i can run it, but at 30 fps minimum and insurgency's community will die, the game where i can run the game

what am i to do?? D:
also i heard about skins in the game, i hate skins only when you need to pay for them, but actually completing tasks to get skins would be a good idea, actual skill put for the reward y'know?

This game wont die when sandstorm gets released. Some people wont move to sandstorm for several reasons and this game will still have a community, albeit probably smaller then it already is (the game usually has around 2k-3k players daily). I think the numbers will drop heavily once sandstorm releases and then stablise around 1k-1.5k daily players.

I worry about the same thing. I have a laptop with enough CPU power but it will lack graphics capabilitys for Sandstorm. I know this will be the case for many of us though so I am not stressed as there will still be a community and still some servers up, think about it the lots of people still play the old CODs despite there being countless new ones. I only discovered this game two days ago but Im really enjoying it so fingers crossed my predictions are right!

This is why I just built a new computer (plus I couldn't stand the black ring bug on my laptop anymore) ;). But it won't die, there will be many people in the same boat and who knows, maybe some people won't like sandstorm and will return to Insurgency.

Good point... but then again, Just Cause 3 is a chaotic sandbox known for a lot happening on screen at once. Sandstorm is team based shooter on the other hand.

PUBG is optimized like ♥♥♥♥ and has a veeeery large map. Sandstorm will have much smaller maps and less player per match, wich means it will run better

I bet my balls this game will be able to run on a Pentium G4560 and a gt 1050. This should be the minimum to play any videogame at 1080p in 2018.

I'm pretty sure there's enough gamers that don't shell out full price or anywhere near full price for games these days anymore, don't worry, Insurgency won't just drop off the map.

I have a g4560 and a gtx 1050. I can run every game but that doesnt mean that some of them are playable. That g4560 causes a ton of stutter and unstable frametime mostly on open world games.

1) reducing ur resolution can help a lot. if u are employed, i think its time to save for a new rig, which is wat im doing for sandstorm
2) the skins are not microtransactions, they will all be earnable cosmetics, just like in the old days of call of duty.
