BattlEye Blocked loading of file steamclient64.dll
Hey guys,

Since the May-4th update I'm noticing the BattlEye launcher. More anticheat, that's good. Saw it blocking some innocent dll yesterday (prio.dll). A bit weird, but oh well, I could still play. This afternoon I also started the game without issue.

But right now BattlEye is blocking steamclient64.dll which prevents the game from starting. Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/tcaOAmC.png

I tried the 'Verify Integrity Of Game Files', it did not find any issue.

System information: https://pastebin.com/raw/QQfcD2Y8

Any idea what's going on here?

Thanks.

But why though? (I'm just using the normal, stable client)

Reinstalled Steam on top of my existing installation and now the game starts again. Would still like to understand why that was necessary (other games worked fine). But thanks for the quick help @Arc!

Yeah I realize now that it was an issue with BattlEye, not Insurgency. So it could happen with any game making use of BattlEye.
This is hardly a surprise. Battleeye is crap.

@MrHeadcrack
Press Windows+R and t "regedit" go into the registry editor.
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\AuthRoot
at there set the value of "DisableRootAutoUpdate" to 0 and reboot
It works at my case.
