M240B and PKM Machine guns?

Will they ever be added to the game, and if not why?

The M240B fires a heavier 7,62mm round for those of you who don't know and is arguably more reliable as reported by military personnel using it (not relevent I know, just wanted to point it out). Now some draw backs to balance it out would be that the gun will be heavier and bigger (longer) than the M249 thus meaning that if you choose it and like a heavy kit you won't be able to bring anything else like grenades or pistols with you. It will also have a longer effective range (not as effective as a sniper of course) but having a ♥♥♥♥♥ier accuracy when not setup on it's bipod.

While the PKM would provide the Insurgence with something that they can use similarly to the M249 SAW in the game right now since the RPK only has a 75 drum magazine and is not THAT good at doing it's job of a machine gun in many people's opinions, including mine.

Edit: Forgot to mention that the M240 has a slower fire rate, so it wouldn't be as good as putting suppression down range but if you want more killing power you know what to choose.

No, they will not be added. This is because they are no longer developing new content for Insurgency.

Something to hope for in Sandstorm, though.

Yes I know, I have the M240 one from CoD but it's only a reskin, I wanted for it to be a real weapon.

And I don't really play the Insurgence so I couldn't care less about their weapons however it would be unfair for the Security Forces to be the only ones to get a new weapon.

well as said above we are getting the PKM in Insurgency Sandstorm. its not too unfeasible that we will be getting a high caliber security counterpart to the PKM.

well as said above we are getting the PKM in Insurgency Sandstorm. its not too unfeasible that we will be getting a high caliber security counterpart to the PKM.

Provided that I can even run that game.

easy to say, harder to do. money is gonna be a big problem for ppl looking to upgrade a PC, or buy a totally new one in my case (i currently play on a laptop, its 3 years old, and can run ins at about 90 fps so im happy). the crypto currency craze has driven GPU and CPU prices thru the bloody roof. its a rough time to get a new PC
