Paged pool memory available setting?
I have very low RAM (3 GB) and a very poor GPU (Biostar GeForce 8400GS 256mb) and i can sort of get this game to work. What would be the optimal setting for paged pool memory? and is there any chance trilinear filtering would run better than bilinear? Thanls fo the help!

if it were me i would be running it in 800x600 minimum settings, and set page pool memory to low. go for bilnear to i think that has least amount computer usage

Lol the computer is decent (Pavilion p7-1380t CTO with an i5 3470) but the ram and GPU are absolute crap, literally the scraps leftover from where i work

Paged pool on minimum.

For increased FPS, try disabling multicore rendering and maxing the screen resolution (if it doesn't work, too bad, I guess).

The processor is pretty good (i referenced it above, its a quad core that runs at 3.2 GHZ) will disabling multicore rendering really help if the processor's not the problem? Im asking genuinely

Not to be rude, but both of those suggestions are alarmingly false. Multicore rendering is an extremely useful feature, especially since he's on a quad core CPU. Why on earth would you want to remove the games ability to use more than one of those cores? As for the resolution statement, larger resolutions put more load on the GPU. The OPs GPU is not powerful, and a larger resolution is not a good idea.

At OP: As others have said, paged pool should be at low, and you may want to lower your resolution. Something else you could try is lowering the DirectX level in the game. (Right click insurgency in steam library>Properties>Set Launch options, input "-dxlevel81" without quotes.) Though, newer DirectX levels generally have performance and optimization improvements over the older versions, so I wouldn't count on this one working too well. One more thing you could try is changing the settings in the NVidia control panel to reflect maximum performance/minimum quality. You can usually access the control panel by right clicking on your desktop. There should be an entry in there regarding NVidia. Hope this helps!

They are so alarmingly false, that they make the game run better on my multicore processor and Intel HD 3000. Few games make good use of more than one core, and this is not one of them in my experience. Just because something is better for someone, it doesn't mean it's better for others.

And that was rude.

mostly computers do good with multicore rendering just like mine and im just wondering whats paged pool memory avalible i just need more fps

I never use MSAA or FXAA crap. Just use your highest screen resolution and play with low paged pool memory and have texture quality set to high.
