You're a guest on any server but your own, and all bans are issued at the admins discretion. I personally do not understand how your comment contributed anything to the situation. With racial tensions the way they are right now I would've most likely banned you aswell.
Anyway, i'm greately interested in your server Pabbatt blue, if it permits me to play casually without paying attention to butthurt admins.
And about you Lagon.. Racial tension ? We do not all live in the same country you know ?

There's a few stipulations to any server, laid down by the owner and enforced by a select few. The most common being "don't be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" and "don't disrespect those in higher command than you"
The individual originally commented about had a name that conflicted with the rules of that server which in this case was "don't use something that can provoke an argument"
This includes, but is not limited to: religion, cursing, provocation, slander [even if it's themselves or an object], satire [cruel joke] and above all else, politics and military role-models that caused severe emotional trauma. [such as Hitler and Rommel, the SS, the Red Army, Stalin and so forth... Hillary and Trump have been a major traumatic roller-coaster experience for the U.S as a whole as well.]
Even if you didn't intentionally mean to start drama, a comment that starts as "what if that guy you just banned" IS starting drama, because it's confronting authority on something they explicitely say not to do with or without warning so long as it's in their rules either in-game OR on their website visibly read to all using it.
It's like when you get arrested for arguing with a police officer when they arrest your best friend. It's not direct drama, but it's opening the door to it. And the easiest way to "shut" that door, is to silence the individual starting it.
As for the comment about civil rights. That's got nothing to do with internet bullying. The freedom of speech does not mean freedom to boss others around into feeling like crap. It was fighting those that caused inequality to begin with, not enforcing further hatred....
And Sterling, saying "people died boohoo"... wonder if you'd say the same thing if your family was on the frontlines of the next major war. Don't gloat about being safe when other sacrificed their entire life and future just so you can have a safe-haven to sleep. That's being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and what people look for when they ban individuals.

He's making fun of my clan which plays on this server a lot. Sounds like he needs a little more church in his life. ;)

At the end of the day, if admins have a set of rules and felt they needed to ban anyone, it is their right to do so. No different from most TOS out there where a host reserves their right to pull the plug on a server at any given time. There are plenty of servers available to play in or, buy your own server!
I've banned people with names like "ImHacking" ImSoNOTHacking" EliteHacker".
Or people that have websites as said name.
