How inaccurate is hipfire
I know it might differ between weapons but i just want to know the inacurracy of the pistols and assault rifles when hipfireing. And how far is okay for pray and spray with weapons hipfireing

If the target is more than 10m away, ADS. If at a range where the knife becomes an option, hip fire. Once you work with it for awhile the hip fire is pretty easy.

Brings this talks about hip fire let me add this, don't worry about laser sights. They give you away and are another 3 points that could go towards a Molotov, AP ammo, or even heavy armor.

Totally get rid of hipfire strategy unless surprised by enemy and have no other option. Insurgency is not a hipfire game.

Insurgency is a hip fire game. It's as accurate as you are skilled in judging the bullet trajectory. With a little practice you can consistently land shots on target at 50m+ with any variety of firearm. It's not exactly ideal though. Practice using hip fire in close quarters, it may just give you the edge when you need it. I wouldn't recommend going full auto with hip fire though, even in intense situations. Use controlled bursts at most. I usually go semi-auto with hip fire, but I make sure my shots hit their mark.

Hope that's straightforward enough. Practice, practice, practice.

Practice hipfire enough and you won't need to ADS unless the enemy is a mile away or you're using an extremely short weapon. Avoid people telling you otherwise, they're either too scared to practice, or don't wanna let go of their CoD OCD, where you ADS every single corner. You can't rely only on ADS with weapons having such a high damage to the point where they can one-hit a heavily armored target.

I managed to hip fire my M45 when an enemy surpirsed me and I managed to land two shots in his head, other than that hipfire is pretty useless, unless you're a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with fooking lazer sights.

I actually never bought a lazer sight in this game. I basically use my points on scope or Ap

In short, Hipfire is just as accurate as ADS only IF you know WHAT you're DOING.
The advantage is the ability to aim off center.

Says the guy who is banning players, with better gun control than him, from his server... LOL

Get a life, you miserable waste of oxygen. I can't even make a helpful response to someone's question without one of you goons running your lips about something so completely irrelevant. Either provide something helpful and relevant or p*ss off.

If you are who I think you are, your bad reputation is just coming back to bite your nipple. Don't be surprised.

Technically, hipfire is exactly as accurate as using the sights. The only difference is that hipfire doesn't shoot exactly in the center of your screen; rather, the weapon moves in an invisible box shape.

Hipfiring is generally easier with long weapons, like the M16A4 or M4A1. Pistol hipfire is hard to judge where the shot is gonna land, exactly.

Recently, I've been using this Workshop mod that makes scopes takes up less of your screen and improves weapon positions for better point-firing: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=918453162

No matter the history, it shouldn't be on this thread, regardless of what anyone thinks about me. This thread is for Owltaku, not me or The Lion's Den. It's about respect. Hate me all you want, but not here.

Besides, I'm really not at all concerned about the reputation I have amongst the people that have such a low reputation in my book ... and my book is the only one that counts.

Now let's leave it at that. Thanks.

Sorry for bringing this up in this thread as it's not relevant to the OP's question, but if you think your reputation isn't gonna carry over to the discussion board, you're completely wrong.

Regarding my outlook on the Lion's Den server; I've heard of someone who was banned off the server. I checked the videos that had "proof" of the guy in question who was banned, and he's definitely not cheating. Sh*t, I know people who play this game who were better than that guy.
It's funny to think that the "Lion's Den" server kicks and bans people who might actually qualify as Lions. Lol

If you don't care at all that you have a low reputation among many players... isn't that kind of a problem in and of itself? You clearly did something to get bad rep; this is the Insurgency community, not CS:GO. We don't blame people for nothing.

You're also pretty stuck-up for thinking your "book" is the only one that matters. Other people play this game. They're here to have some fun, not kicked kicked off a server for "being too good".

Pysmod is strange at first but it's really good once you get used to it.

So this isn't the only forum where ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ start, that's pretty neat.
