Read my last post, I hope that'll help you.
I did several tests in the past, but did not think about using the console for loading maps. The lack of friendly fire made me lost interest in this game.
Thanks to your suggestion the game is again worthy to me.. last night I played a brutal skirmish fight in “heights” map. Some months ago I made a little mod for personal use which makes fights much longer and make bots start with more realistic equipments.
It is just a shame that devs abandoned this game, IMO it was close to be the best CQC game ever made. A few improvements would make this game perfect… for example, if friendly bots kept a major distance from the player and other AI mates, mission-based gamemodes like HUNT and CHECKPOINT would get very interesting.
For these last, in my personal mod I limited the number of friendly bots to 2 or 3, so they don’t crash too much with each other.. but it is still not enough. I would really like to have the skills to implement some more improvements. A great goal would be to be able to give them some orders, as you could in Counter Strike.
In case you want share some progress for singleplayer, just let me know or send me a pm.
