Best way to rent/host a server?

I'm currently putting together a competitive league for the game and am having troubles finding a good way to rent/host a server. Anyone got any good sites for rentals? I will be want the server in North America.

I went with nfoservers.com. I have absolutely zero complaints. Great support and an all round great host.

Just a heads-up. I went for XstreamGaming.net and they only set up servers during work hours, i.e. Monday to Friday. No biggie but now you know.

Tha'ts not the usual case Esso. Setup is Instant once payment is received 24/7/365. If you have paid and haven't received your order yet, get in touch with support. They'll sort you out.

Xraider is right. My server were supposed to be set up straight away, but something happened and I got a £1 credit for my troubles and it was up the day after.

The majority of our servers have been hosted through NFOServers. Those guys have some amazing support times, and are super quick to escalate issues when needed to get stuff fixed.

They are about $1/slot, but given that I constantly get comments about our servers being some of the lowest ping and least laggy, I'll say its worth it :)

I went with uniqueservers.com the hosting provider that Insurgency itself sponsored/advertised.
They're absolutlely great and by far the best server provider i've been with in a really long time.

I don't say that lightly either. I've been with about over 20 different game server providers over the past 6 or 7 years and never have i had such a great experience as i've had with them. My server always runs great even at full capacity. They're active on their facebook in answering questions, website, and even added me on steam to see if i had any issues or needed any kind of help.

Even when i had questions about Insurgency in general, he contacted an Insurgency Dev for me immediately as they have them on skype and got my needed information.

I love their Support and the server hosting just as much.

I don't think you'll be disappointed if you go with them.

That's my opinion on them.. to give you a bit better detailed post about a hosting provider.

if you can spare some processing power and memory, just host one on a virtualbox virtual machine. its free and works like a charm.
