Error message on Mac: "PowerPc applications are not longer supported"

Since the Oct 5 update I can't open Insurgency game nor Steam app. When I click on the game's icon it does absolutely nothing and when I click on the Steam icon I get this error: "You can't open the application "Steam.app" because PowerPc applications are not longer supported". I am not able to do file verification or anything because I can't open any of those apps.

Anyone with the same issue?

I've done that twice but they just answered once with the instruction of restarting my computer and verifying files, I told them I can't verify files because I'm not even able to open the Steam App but they haven't given me any solution yet.
