[SOLVED] 'DISCONNECTED: Battleye must be installed and running to join this server' PROBLEM
I have now tried everything Google can find to solve this problem. Whenever I try to join a multiplayer server this message occurs (TITLE) I have tried manually re-installing battleye, re-installing the game, running it in services, verification of game cache files.... everything. But nothing helps. ALL I want is for this lovely game to work! Any suggestions on how to fix this?

[solution]

Apperently Bullguard won't whitelist BE or insurgency... So I uninstalled Bullguard and installed another antivirus program (Avira) and now it seemes to work.

If it cannot be installed then you have most likely system wide issue or your system is not supported (XP/Vista).

Sometimes it is caused by permission issue so the service won't start, and similar shenanigans.

I Run on Windows 10 so don't think that is the problem. And well how would i go about fixing 'permission issues' then??

Do you have virus software or just Windows Defender? Battleeye is pretty damn snoopy so it may be being blocked.
