Loud buzzing from PC in game
I have for a few weeks found when I play Insurgency - that I was getting a loud, prominent buzz from inside the PC. This only happened with Insurgency. Was not sure if it was sound, gfx or system related (most of the time I wear headphones - so to some degree did not notice/care - so today I did some testing. I changed GFX settings so that mostly I went from high and no AA settings to high and AA setting across the board and I changed the sound settings from 2 speaker tro headphones.

The buzzing seems to have stopped. I've played several games and no sign of it.

Maybe your FANs got bit loudy due to increased load on HW ?

No, this was a serious buzzing sound, like feedback on speakers or something like that. If it was just fan load - bear in mind I've cranked the game up on all settings. If it was a load issue, it should have got worse..

Open a panel of your pc, run the game and track the noise.
Could be fans or coil whine.

I have this same issue. It comes through my studio monitors until I turn them off. But a very similar noise persists coming somewhere from inside my tower

The loud buzzing in-game happens when you have sound mods downloaded from the Workshop, the work around to this is using GCFScape to put the sound files directly into the game. There may already be a guide to this, otherwise I'd be happy to do my best to explain.
