Yeah in every shooter its natural to only aim down sights while holding right click. Once you release the mouse button you no longer aim down sight. In this game it's clunky because you use right click to toggle aiming down sight. It slows you down when making a transition between targets. Titanfall had the option to toggle with right click or allow you to disable that so you can only aim down sight while you were holding right click which is natural for shooters.
unfortunately my key bindings keep resetting so it wouldnt matter, but its good to know the feature is there ^_^
