the game has started to crash crashes

I've played over 30 hours on this game and suddenly it has started to crash, I don't know why but i feel a bit mad at it. I've tried doing different things like changing different things in graphics but to no avail. So I am thinking to leave this game alone for some time, until this crashing problem is sorted.
Does auto save have something to do with it? problem is I can't find where to change it.
