Upgrade button?
Is there a way to see or cycle through the buildings that can be upgraded or evolved?

Similar to a game like StarCraft or something?

After a while the sprawling city gets nice, but it get's harder to keep track what can be improved and what we have already build.

Just some QoL-improvement.

All Production and Proximity buildings are upgradable via the Blueprint panel (Architect), although, in the later stage of the current game, some upgrades are not yet possible due to the Ages of the Renaissance and Enlightenment not being implemented yet.

If you view all of your Culture Buildings in the Building panel, you will see a white arrow pointing upwards on those buildings which are 'evolvable'. When viewing each of these, you will see a requirement for the evolution below the building description.

With regard to the city sprawl, it is quicker to view what each level each of your buildings are in the Horreum or by clicking on the topmost button in the list on the left of the gamescreen which pulls up the same list.

HTH ;)

While you can see production buildings I can't see anywhere where you can see a list of cultural or other buildings. So you have to go clicking on building to building to try to see what you've got and what is able to be evolved and you can't scroll from one building to another to find them all. For example, I knew I was at the maximum limit of surveyors' cabins, and i couldn't jump from one to another to see which could be demolished.

The "buildings registry" in Victoria 3 is a collection of all the buildings that you see an overview and can go direct to.

The pop up news is a bit flaky too. It's difficult to see what you have and haven't read when there's more than one, and the clear button clears them all rather than just the one you have read.

I'm still trying to understand the dynamics of the "know-how" and urban planning aspects.
It is very pretty and I'm enjoying the dynamics though.

Not yet as All buildings have not been implemented yet. As mentioned in the roadmap there are at least TWO more AGEs to be added to the game coming with their own buildings. Right now the game has TWO AGEs. So by full release right now as planned there will be a total of FOUR AGEs in the gave to progress through.

For the time being you could refer to the guide
