Feel free to use the filters (button at the top right of your screen) to see where the resources you need are.
If these are not accessible, you will need to use the Surveyors' cabin to expand your territory!
As of right now you have to place the ancient camp before being able to use the filters.
Pressing Tab while in the Ancient Camp placement screen allows you to access the resource filter.
Hope this helps
You can use TAB to show the map and filter before you choose the place for your city.
- Select the Ancient Camp.
- Press "6" to change to the resource overlay and look for your preferred spot.
- Press "4" to check your initial radius again.
- Place when ready.
I did not realize that in order to upgrade my Surveyors cabin I would need sand..
I find the buiilding zones to be far too restrictive and totally unnecessary.
