The game really needs controller support. The trackpad is ok on the Steam Deck, but controller would be way more fun.

Just one thing... if you do add it, make sure the trackpad still works. Eg if you add button labels, don't make them disappear the moment I move the mouse cursor. Have an option to always/never/"auto" show controller button labels (auto means stop showing when mouse is moved) and set it to always on the Steam Deck by default.
