Let the AI use your created army/battlegroup
hi guys.

i just brought this game. and i played europian escalation much. so now im to the next title. altough in Europian escalation. i did not play skirmish mode. in airland battle it was the first thing i did. so i saw the army builder tab and made some battlegroups. some with only ifantry and support others heavy air based. so i can use these decks let we say

bit i noticed the AI can't. maybe i dont see how. but can you let the Ai play with your created deck. or only the standard ones that are ingame. because when they use those. their tactics are nothing short of dumb. just rushing into the teeth of my battle lines is stupid i think. even SAMs they just steam into it. an that is boring and stupid. is this fixable. can i let the ai play with my own created army's so not let me know.

tnx in advance for all the responses. and if it is a negative response maybe ito red dragon. i saw they had ships in them :). i hope carriers for your aircraft would be fun.

with kind regards

You cannot use a custom deck to play as the AI and we haven't been able to figure out how to substitute one in the game files. You can get a decent variety of AI decks by changing the Ai toughness level. Also, we have found that the AI in ALB behaves differently than RD, in fact we see some interesting tactical changes and decision making in ALB that one does not see in RD. I am not sure what you are seeing as far as AI decision making, but in RD I have noticed that the AI just goes and keeps going, in ALB it switches up approaches, probes areas and seems to act a little more cautious.

yeah dit does the ALB it probers areas and then rushes his troops in. even when 3 tank batallions are slaughtering his troops they keep going. altough have to admind upon that it becomes hard for the ai. they call in air support. but that was anticipated. zo i got AA in there. oh wel maybe on the hardes difficulty trying maybe. altough i find it quite sad that i cant let them use my decks. as it could create fun senarios. like infantry only battles in urban areas. would be fun

But then again, think about the Pact doctrine of the era...mass amount of troops and armor and keep going as far as they can before the West can react with superior technology. We always knew that if there was a conflict, Ivan would come fast and come large...all we could do was to buy time until our resources could be brought to bear. As ex-US Army from the 80s, that is what we all prepared for and were trained to expect.
