[Problem:] Setup a Roland FP-3 as Midi Keyboard?????
Hello im using my Roland FP-3 with the Expansion Pack "Steinway Grand Piano" and have problems with the Midi Settings... if i strike a key on my FP-3 i have a bigger bandwidth for play loud and soft as the Steinway. Also there is still a very little delay between press a key and hear the sound (already using ASIO). Im a noob in this Midi and ASIO stuff :S so someone can say me where i can find/or how to setup the correct Midi settings for a FP-3 ? at the moment i use the "default" Midi Instrument in Presettings/Midi/Instruments. Also i use a USB Midi-Interface

Here thats what im doing for recored with my FP-3 at the moment:
1. Start MC6 and add the Cakewalke SoundCenter Synthesizer
2. Choose the Seinway "Medium Grand" Piano
3. Set In to Midi Channel 1
4. Set Out to ASIO4ALL v2 "Speaker/HeadPhone 1" (using a Creative Soundblaster Z, ASIO4All v 2.11 Beta2)
5. Enable record for Synthesizer track and start record (key: "R")

Settings i already set:
- "default" Midi Instrument in Presettings/Midi/Instruments.
- using ASIO4All v 2.11 Beta2
- enabled all in Presettings/Midi/Playback and Records/Records ( tested also if i disable step by step..but the problem with then loudness bandwidth between FP-3 and Steinway and delay problem stay)
- enabled all in Presettings/Midi/Playback and Records/PlayBack (echo=enabled, buffer = 150ms..tested 50 and 500 too)
- if i load the CakeWalk Soundcenter i dont change the default settings.

Thx for help :)

K the little delay problem is solved by changing the ASIO buffer to 256 samples (hope this will be a good value too ^^)
