Joe, isn't there any other way to download that zip? That site you're using is an advertising hound. Can't even download without entering "Compare rates and save" in a Geico Box.

I'm passing on it for now. Besides, you'd have to tell me how to install the samples anyway since I'm a dork.

PS: There are some free sites that you can use for this purpose. I have used three myself. Don't have the names off the top of my head though, but if you don't know of any, check back with me and I'll look up the ones I've used.

Yeah I'd love to hear about better hosting sites. I can put it up on rapidgator. Anyway you can wait for the raw excitement (yeah right) of me putting it up for Sampletank or Kontakt in instrument form.

Don't know what your problem was, I only had to kill 2 advertisements. The captcha or whatever it's called is just to prove your not a robot. When Media fire presents the file for download, just click the GREEN download box beside the filename. (302.3 MBs)

Interesting Pte. There was no green box beside the filename in my case. The only captcha I had was built into a geico banner--it said, "Type this here: Compare rates and save," in the geico box. That was their captcha. Couldn't get around it. Wasn't going to type that in and have to go through ad stuff.

Joe, I'll post some stuff tomorrow. There are a few that should work no problem, and which are easier to dodge ads on. Also, you could always get a free dropbox account. It is very cool--I use it to post stuff for collaboration. Basically it is like a folder on your computer and when you put things in it, they automatically post to your dropbox page. You can then share the links right from your desktop folder, which is directly associated with the dropbox site. No ads whatsoever.

Hear Me, You have to fetch and type the Catcha to get through, once that is done, you'll get a popup advertisement, just close it and mediafire will fetch the file and give you the green download button beside the filename. You'll get another ad popup when you click the download button just close it as well. DO NOT click anything else on the site or you WILL get lost in a sea of adverts.

If you are not a MediaFile subscriber, the download will be throttled back to about I think mind went down to around 16 kb/s. Did not want to wait 8 hours for the file to download, so I killed the process.

Shoot I didn't know it was that slow. I'll put it up on rapidgator, see if thats better. Let me know some better hosting sites. They seem to use mediafire a lot at KVR, so I just got in the habit.

Usually I don't have a problem with it, but then most of the files I download are fairly small and I don't usually monitor the process. but this one for some reason slowed right down.

Hey Joe, try Fileswap[www.fileswap.com]. Pretty straightforward. The download process asks about advertising driven vs. "slow," but frankly I find it humorous since the "slow" one is always faster than waiting through the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ option!

Also, as I noted earlier, you should check out DropBox[www.dropbox.com]. Very easy to use and absolutely no ads to deal with whatsoever!

Hey Joe and all.

Probably not news to many around here, but XLN Audio, which put out Addictive Drums, also has Addictive Keys. Addictive Drums and Keys are both no cheapy items, but both do have free versions. In the case of Addictive Drums, the free version is very limited (still the best damned drum box I've ever heard in my life, by far), but Addictive Keys comes with a variety of instances of a studio grande piano and, frankly, I'm not sure why anyone would need more after hearing the one in this package. It is absolutely outstanding.

If you haven't tried it yet, give Addictive Keys a try. The free version is more than enough to satify anyone looking for a really good piano sound. Fact is, in a recording you'd be hard pressed to tell--and I mean, unbelievably hard pressed--that it wasn't the real thing.

Besides, if more of us try it, Joe can stop posting so many plugins forcing me to constantly have to remove stuff from my system for space purposes! :-)
