Are Achievements only unlocked after a certain level? Is this an issue with me? I hope to hear from someone eventually on the issue.
Thanks in advance!
hi there.. im not a linux expert but there is a dedicated linux tech help section on forums here :-
{HIVATKOZÁS TÖRÖLVE}http://www.championsofregnum.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=15
they could help you.
tested on ubuntu 14.04 with steam BETA fully updated.
Heres the debug:
ERROR: ld.so: object '/home/jaime/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/gameoverlayrenderer.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32): ignored.

I could attempt to reinstall Regnum on here but I wouldn't know how it might make things better.
it does sound like a corrupt file... maybe someone could upload data5.sbd for you? It is only a 80 megabyte file. if you feel like it post on the main forums at {HIVATKOZÁS TÖRÖLVE}championsofregnu.com. i think you need to specify it is a linux iinstall..
try a reinstall or post your system specs?
I tried installing CoR through there website installer thing, but I also get an error, when I went to the CoR forums (no sign in, just visiting & reading what was said), they were basicly saying that the 32-bit librabries weren't installed, even if its the 64-bit version of the game it wuldnt work, so when i tried to install the ia32-libs it says some packages basicly replace that. So pretty much i can't get this game to work on my linux machine.
If i go thro Steam the game starts up, & runs, but all the textures are missing, and all that.
Will i have to wait for Xubuntu 14.04 (an LTS) before Steam & CoR support my platform more fully?

although i do not know about the linux install from steam, my preference would be to skip steam and use the install from either {HIVATKOZÁS TÖRÖLVE}championsofregnum.com or {HIVATKOZÁS TÖRÖLVE}gamesamba.com. gamesamba is preferred because they have better customer support. though i dont know how linux affects the decision between those 2 websites.
How do we re verify local files?
It seems to start up fine and run for over a couple of minutes and then dissapears so the program is not running any longer. Then tried setting lowest graphics settings but looks exactly the same and same thing happens where program just dissapears.
Running Manjaro xfce Linux with Radeon 2600 Graphics Card and 2Gb Ram.
I think I might have to run KDE instead and see if that works. Would like to get it working in Linux.
